Obama Family Ready to Adopt a New Puppy

On election night Barack Obama re-assured his two young daughters that they “earned the new puppy that’s coming with us to the White House.” I think what everybody wants to know now is what kind of puppy will it be. Michelle Obama mentioned months ago that the puppy would come from a shelter (woo-hoo!) so that leaves endless possibilities.

The pending pooch has been in the news since July, and two websites, presidentialpup.com and obamafamilydog.com have been parading all breeds as viable options. The poodle seems to be a popular choice amongst many visitors to those sites. President Elect Obama was quoted to say “The dog is a done deal. Who’s walking the dog, that’s what were concerned about.”

I am sure that the dog will get plenty of walks and maybe even a few White House style nail groomings with a Peticure! We’ve all done it… stepped on the cat’s tail, hit the dog with the ball we were tossing in play or spoken more crossly than intended. Nothing can destroy the trust between you and your pet faster than unintentionally hurting it.

You end up feeling as bad – or worse – than your pet. These injuries can be remedied quickly, but some hurts are far more intense and the trust takes longer to heal.

Up at the top of the list is “cutting” your pets’ nails. Near the base and inside the dog’s nail is tender pink tissue called the quick. Using old-fashioned clippers puts lots of pressure on your pets’ toenails even before it cuts through the nail.

Clippers also give you less control and make it more likely that the quick can be accidentally cut, resulting in pain, bleeding and a great, big loss of trust.

I ALMOST GAVE UP ON TRYING TO GET MY DOG NAILS DONE. THE GROOMER HAD EVEN MADE THEM BLEED BEFORE. I SAW THE PETICURE COMMERCIAL ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO AND WENT TO THEIR WEBSITE

I REALLY HAD RUN OUT OF OPTIONS AT THIS POINT AND TAFFY’S NAILS WERE SO LONG I COULD TELL SHE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE….SO I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A SHOT

I ORDERED THE PETICURE PETITE AND WATCHED THE DEMO VIDEOS ON THE PETICURE WEB SITE.

THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS REALLY WORKS!! I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS AT FIRST AND SO WAS TAFFY BUT THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY TO HURT HER BECAUSE OF THIS NEAT GUARD THING.

Tried the peticure…LOVE IT!

My mother got it for my bulldog Buster for X mas.

Where has this thing been? About a year ago, the groomer cut his vien in his nail and he bled for hours…I have totally put it off since then.

Watched the videos on their website …I put him across my lap and, bingo…Buster got his first “peticure”

He was totally cool with it. He just sat there like a big knuckle head.
