Four easy steps to pet toe perfection

Time to give your dog a pedicure… after all she likes to look her best. And you know how important proper dog grooming is to her comfort and health. Plus, when your dogs’ nails are smooth, your hardwood floors and furniture are protected.


You used to dread this job, but no more. Now, in four easy steps, the job is done – to perfection.

  1. Turn on the Peticure and give your dog a treat. Put the Peticure near your dog as you give treats and repeat until the dog is comfortable and looks forward to the treat. (She’ll quick learn to link the treat with the Peticure.)
     
  2. Once your dog feels relaxed with the Peticure, find a comfortable place to sit – on the carpet, floor, easy chair, couch or bed.

  3. Hold your pet’s paw between your thumb and forefinger to retract and support the nail. File each nail for no more than three to five seconds at a time. Go back if necessary, making sure to avoid the nail’s quick. 

  4. Give your dog another treat and lots of encouraging words.
     

 That’s all there is to pet grooming. Now wasn’t that easy!
