What are the drawbacks for using a rotary tool during your dog grooming sessions?
- Accidental abrasion is common. Contact to the dog’s face and paws are difficult to avoid with the high-speed filing bit.
- Unwanted hair winding in the filing bit is a common occurrence for long hair breeds. Hair that is suddenly pulled is obviously painful.
- As the nail is filed with an open face bit, projectile nail debris makes a dusty white cloud that is a hazard to the eyes, harmful to breathe, and is quite messy.
Control issues are another drawback with the standard rotary tool. Placing the nail on the incorrect spot against the force of the filing bit creates awkward skips and bumps which makes the tool difficult to use and manipulate. Add a wiggling pet and you increase the difficulty. These negatives have kept the otherwise beneficial rotary tool from complete industry adoption.
There is a cure…Peticure!
The Peticure safe guard makes the rotary tool easy for anyone to use right out of the box! The guard eliminates all of the former safety issues while providing superb control, so your pet grooming will be faster, easier, and cheaper.
- Hair winding is eliminated
- The dog is completely protected from the filing bit
- The guard catches all of the debris for convenient disposal

If you are in the market for a new dog grooming tool, don’t be confused by cheap imitators when you go to purchase the Peticure nail grooming system. With the safety guard and multi-holed nail attachment, you can now groom your pet’s nails safer, faster, and more efficient, without having to pay those high monthly grooming fees.
Many pet owners have been fooled by the multiple knock-offs of the Peticure that have flooded the market, and they have been burned by their experience. Don’t get caught buying anything except the Peticure when you are looking for a new pet grooming tool. The Peticure comes with great customer service and easy online chat and messages boards for any issues that pet owners may have with their Peticure. You won’t find that kind of care and accountability with the other guys.
Pet owners will not find customer service at the forefront of the other guys pet nail grinders. With a whole line of pet grooming products and pet treats, Peticure is here to stay, and they want there customers to know there pets safety is the driving force behind the Peticure.

On election night Barack Obama re-assured his two young daughters that they “earned the new puppy that’s coming with us to the White House.” I think what everybody wants to know now is what kind of puppy will it be. Michelle Obama mentioned months ago that the puppy would come from a shelter (woo-hoo!) so that leaves endless possibilities.
The pending pooch has been in the news since July, and two websites, presidentialpup.com and obamafamilydog.com have been parading all breeds as viable options. The poodle seems to be a popular choice amongst many visitors to those sites. President Elect Obama was quoted to say “The dog is a done deal. Who’s walking the dog, that’s what were concerned about.”
I am sure that the dog will get plenty of walks and maybe even a few White House style nail groomings with a Peticure! While everyone waits to see what the new addition will be to the Obama’s household, the White House staff will need to start thinking about some housebreaking initiatives. There are a lot of places to pee in the White House.

Any cat owner will tell you that there cat does not like to have its claws trimmed. This is in part due to the method that most people employ, clipping. A much safer and more effective way to maintain your cat’s nails is by grinding them down. A grinder makes pet grooming a snap for any at home pet groomer.
First you need to restrain your cat in your lap. Place your forearm over your cat’s neck and hind end to help keep them in your lap. To expose the claw, gently squeeze the toe between your thumb forefinger. Now use your free hand to grind down the exposed nail with a grinder like the Peticure. Repeat for each claw and before you know it you will be done.
By using a grinder over the old-fashion clippers, your cat will have no chance of experiencing any pain due to cutting of the quick. Tension levels will be much lower as the grooming sessions go on because your cat will begin to realize that pain is not a possibility when it comes time to grind its nails. Just another reason to make the switch now to a grinder for all your pet grooming needs.

Grooming your pet accomplishes much more than just making them look nice. It allows you to keep a watchful eye on there body to ensure they are not developing any health problems, and also lets you spend some good quality time with your pet. Pet grooming keeps encompasses many aspects of pet care; hair, nails, teeth, and ear care is all essential to a healthy happy pet.
It is important to keep a regular schedule of grooming sessions with your dog. One of the best times to do this is after a nice walk. Your dog will be much calmer and relaxed, therefore respond better to a nice grooming. Dog grooming should not be a tense moment for you or your pet if you choose the right moment and use the correct tools.
A good quality pet comb or brush, a professional nail grinder like Peticure, a soft bristled tooth brush, and some mineral oil and cotton balls for your pet’s ears, is all you need to keep your pet looking happy and feeling healthy.

Time to give your dog a pedicure… after all she likes to look her best. And you know how important proper dog grooming is to her comfort and health. Plus, when your dogs’ nails are smooth, your hardwood floors and furniture are protected.
You used to dread this job, but no more. Now, in four easy steps, the job is done – to perfection.
- Turn on the Peticure and give your dog a treat. Put the Peticure near your dog as you give treats and repeat until the dog is comfortable and looks forward to the treat. (She’ll quick learn to link the treat with the Peticure.)
- Once your dog feels relaxed with the Peticure, find a comfortable place to sit – on the carpet, floor, easy chair, couch or bed.
- Hold your pet’s paw between your thumb and forefinger to retract and support the nail. File each nail for no more than three to five seconds at a time. Go back if necessary, making sure to avoid the nail’s quick.
- Give your dog another treat and lots of encouraging words.
That’s all there is to pet grooming. Now wasn’t that easy!

We’ve all done it… stepped on the cat’s tail, hit the dog with the ball we were tossing in play or spoken more crossly than intended. Nothing can destroy the trust between you and your pet faster than unintentionally hurting it.
You end up feeling as bad – or worse – than your pet. These injuries can be remedied quickly, but some hurts are far more intense and the trust takes longer to heal.
Up at the top of the list is “cutting” your pets’ nails. Near the base and inside the dog’s nail is tender pink tissue called the quick. Using old-fashioned clippers puts lots of pressure on your pets’ toenails even before it cuts through the nail.
Clippers also give you less control and make it more likely that the quick can be accidentally cut, resulting in pain, bleeding and a great, big loss of trust.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Now soft rotary filers like Peticure make pet grooming painless and remove the fear that you’ll hurt your pet, so you’re both more comfortable.
If somehow you still resorted to using your old clipper, know that regaining your pets’ trust takes time, patience and calm behavior.
· Stay relaxed around your pet (hard to do when you’re holding a clipper).
· Speak softly and offer a little treat – even for doing nothing.
· Sit on the floor with your pet and wait for him to come to you (be patient… no quick movements).
· Throw out the clippers and start using a filing tool for all your dog grooming needs.
You’ll both be more relaxed. And isn’t that what trust is all about?

You used to clip your pets nails, but times have changed. You’re no dummy… you know that nail clippers terrify your terrier, petrify your poodle and scare your Scotty. You also realize that clippers are hard to work with and on the whole just not safe.
Better yet, you’ve heard that there’s a revolutionary way to groom pets’ nails at home that’s safe, easy and even fun… a rotary filing tool designed just for humane pet nail care … and to save you money and time.
So now the big question is: Which tool to choose?
• Only one has a safe-guard adjustable to the size of your pet’s paw and made to eliminate any chance of accidental scrapes and cuts.
• Only one eliminates projectile debris that can get in the eyes of both you and your pet.
• Only one removes the chance of hair winding in the bit.
• Only one guarantees no bumping and skipping.
• And only one is so well made that it has one an award from The International Society of Canine Cosmetologists.
Which one is it? The Peticure… safe, well-made, THE ORIGINAL!
